Initially Paul was entrenched in the Jewish cause, until by miraculous intervention he was used by God as the messenger of the Gospel to the non-Jewish community within Italy, Greece and Asia minor (Turkey). Through Paul's life we see that "God's people" are sometimes heading in an opposite direction; but God may have a different plan!
